Review of my experience with the Airbnb website

First, I’ll try to explain what Airbnb is: Basically, Airbnb is an accommodation booking site where property owners place their accommodations (whole properties or parts him) for hosting platform members.

According to information on the website, the company was founded in 2008 with the mission  to create a world where people can benefit from healthy tourism that is local, authentic, diverse, inclusive and sustainable.

The Airbnb accommodation market provides access to more than 5 million unique spaces for stays in more than 81,000 cities and 191 countries.

Reading it like this seems to be something very simple and innovative. (and it is), because the idea is very interesting.

My 1st Airbnb trip

My first trip using the services of Airbnb was in 2017, when I booked a High standard Loft in the Costa Verde region – RJ.

A little suspicious, I registered, chose the accommodation and sent a message to the host to find out more details about the place, and to my surprise I already knew the place, because it was on Porto Marina Momblanc Apart Hotel.

This made me a little more relaxed, but even so, there was still the concern that I was not booking with the Apart Hotel, but with a host who owned a Loft.

As the price of the stay was much more affordable than booking with the Hotel itself, I decided to take a risk.

Everything went very well, from the negotiation on the website Airbnb, at the Check-in and during our stay in the loft that I resolved stay a day longer than expected.

The best part was that I was able to use the R$130.00 I earned by registering on Airbnb for a referral link and that gave me the opportunity to enjoy an extra day with my family.

So I use and recommend it, because I ended up scheduling another trip in the same period using the Airbnb  platform that I will tell in another Review.
